I have only recently visited the website whilst comparing gaming monitors and I am very much impressed. The UI and some small details could use some work though Something that really pisses me off about this site is the limited reviews thing, but that can be bypassed by cookie clearing or not allowing rtings to use cookies (which isn't recommended for people wanting to use an rtings account as well), but there are some product reviews that you absolutely cannot get access to without paying for insider access (like early access reviews, and all soundbar and printer reviews), so yeah.Īwesome website! Very informative and easy to compare different choices with. If time is money to you and you don't want to look at a bunch of statistics to get the best for you, other places might be better for you. You don't want to immediately buy something just because rtings said it's good for a certain usage you're planning on using it for, but end up facing an issue that was mentioned by rtings but not really prioritized. Try to look at all of their tests and factor in what you want and what you don't care about before making a final buying decision. Also, NEVER blindly trust their preset ratings, because when they say that something might be really good for a usage you prioritize in, there might be a "gotcha" hidden that you might really care about but doesn't affect the overall preset score too much (like build quality), and there might be a component that you might not care so much about that rtings treats as crucial, so yeah. Something that does make this site unique is the sheer amount of detail their reviews have that you don't see anywhere else, and it can actually be overwhelming. Extremely detailed reviews, but don't blindly trust preset ratings like "Gaming"
